Goldendoodle Overview

Goldendoodles are crosses between full-bred golden retrievers and poodles. They have the playful and gentle nature of a golden retriever in addition to the intelligence and patience found in both breeds. Goldendoodles aren’t meant for apartment living — they can grow up to 90 pounds and need a yard to run and play in.

The popularity of golden retrievers has helped make the goldendoodle a popular breed in the United States. People with allergies can’t own golden retrievers, so a goldendoodle allows them to bring home a dog with much the same temperament and personality. They don’t shed very much at all, so you won’t need to worry about your allergies bothering you in their company.

To keep your goldendoodle’s coat and fur healthy, you do need to groom and trim it regularly. We train all our puppies to be able to tolerate and cooperate with these procedures.

Labradoodle Overview

You may have noticed that quite a few service dogs are labradoodles. This is due to their extreme intelligence, desire to please and gentle, patient nature. Families with children consider labradoodles because they’re great with people of all ages. A labradoodle is the offspring of a full-bred poodle and a Labrador retriever.

It’s important to provide mental and physical stimulation to occupy an energetic labradoodle. Make sure you’re walking your pup regularly and make frequent visits to the dog park. While you can find larger labradoodles meant to romp around in a large yard, apartment dwellers may select smaller ones that grow to as little as 22 pounds.

Labradoodles are a versatile breed and come in many sizes and colors. This makes it easy to find the labradoodle puppy that fits in most with your lifestyle and needs.

Cockapoo Overview

A cockapoo is a cross between a full-bred poodle and a cocker spaniel. They’re the smallest puppies we offer, with some growing to only 6 pounds at adulthood. This is ideal if you live in an apartment and can’t provide a large yard for your puppy to explore. It’s also possible to find cockapoos as large as 65 pounds if you’d prefer a medium to large dog.

There are many fur textures and colors to choose from when selecting a cockapoo. All the fur textures are completely hypoallergenic, so you won’t need to worry about your puppy shedding much around the house. Your cockapoo will be trained to tolerate baths, haircuts and nail trimmings so you can take care of it without hassle.

Cockapoos are social butterflies and get along with people and other dogs. They’re a great choice if you have children because they’re patient and forgiving. While easy to train, they do need to be taken out regularly to run out their energy and keep their minds occupied.

Benefits of Trained Puppies

Why We Train Your Puppies for You

The early stages of a puppy’s life are the most important in terms of developing positive habits and behaviors while discouraging problem behaviors. If you don’t have the time to commit to training your dog during puppyhood, it’s better for both you and the puppy to have the dog trained by a professional. We want all our puppies and their families to have the best life possible, so we take care of the puppy’s training for you so all you need to do is continue to reinforce what your puppy has learned.

We teach puppies what’s okay and what isn’t. Your puppy will already know to go to the bathroom outside, not to chew what isn’t permitted and not to nip at hands and feet. We also socialize our puppies so they behave well in the presence of other people and pets.

Benefits of Hypoallergenic Breeds

Hypoallergenic dogs don’t shed nearly as much as other dogs do. Whenever a dog sheds, dander is released with the fur, and this can irritate a person’s allergies if they’re sensitive to pet dander. Even if you’re not allergic to dogs, a member of your family might be, and any one of you could develop an allergy at some point in your lifetime. Symptoms of allergies can include skin irritation, watering eyes, running nose and difficulty breathing.

Many people who’ve wanted dogs but couldn’t own one due to allergies are now welcoming home hypoallergenic dogs. Our breeds have the perfect temperament, intelligence and energy levels to be amazing companions for you and everyone in your household.

Puppies Trained by Professional Trainers

Pride & Prejudoodles employs professional trainers who are trained in multiple approaches so they can use the method that’s most effective with each puppy. They live with your puppy so they can provide consistent training throughout the day and night. This helps them discourage behaviors such as chewing on furniture, peeing indoors or tugging hard on a leash. Because your puppy will be with its trainer all the time, it also becomes used to distractions, so it remains obedient even when it notices a person, dog or object that catches its interest.

We train your dog in basic obedience, in leash training and to accept grooming. We also socialize your puppy, correct unwanted behavior and deliver your puppy fully housebroken.

We encourage you to follow your puppy’s progress and make this easier for you by sending regular updates, photos, videos and tips that help prepare you for when it comes home. Our staff is happy to hear your concerns and answer any questions you have along the way.

Many people love the idea of having a dog but lack the time or knowledge to train one properly. Pride & Prejudoodles believes that delivering a trained puppy to your door improves the quality of both your life and your pa

You’ll have a discussion with the trainer who took care of your puppy about setting up a proper routine for your dog and how to continue its training. You can discuss what specific areas you need to focus on, and your trainer will help you with any concerns you have at the time.

You need to take your lifestyle, environment, household needs and where you live into account when choosing a dog. If you or someone in your family has allergies, selecting a hypoallergenic breed allows you to have a pet without affecting that person. Because we have such an extensive selection of dogs, we’re confident we can find one that suits your needs perfectly and prepare you to welcome it home.
